With the number of golf tournaments we have in Amarillo, it is no surprise that golf is a sacred pastime in our city. The courses are full when the weather is beautiful. Even on the somewhat windy and questionable days, that doesn't scare a lot of golfers off.

That is why word of a new indoor golf facility has sparked so much excitement among Amarilloans. Whether it’s wind, rain, flooding, or snow, nothing will stop an avid golfer if they can simply head indoors.

This is one of those places that I have been keeping an eye on the progress since it is so close to the house. I got to watch as they first started work on it. I saw the sign go up. Now I will get to see the grand opening celebration.
