The beginning of the summer season is here, and the start of summer vacation means trips to the lake. One of the closest places to a lake in the area is Lake Meredith. It's the perfect place to cool off, throw a line into the water, or hang out on the boat all day. However, once you're off the lake, you are going to be starving, and you don't want just anything; you want something amazing.

If you're camping out at the lake and you're looking for some evening fun, or just a place to grab a bite or even a drink, there are two places nearby that will make your summer lake trips perfect.

They also have cabins to rent if you don't have an RV. However, the area at Camp Meredithville has evolved from just a place to stay into a place to gather.
