Back in December of 2021, we told you that La Bella Pizza on Olsen was getting a new name.   The name is Big Jim's Pizza Company.  They had even announced that they were changing the name.

However, something happened and legality stuff popped up and they had to hold off officially changing the name.

Well, it's finally happening and the pizza and atmosphere you love at La Bella Pizza on Olsen will now officially finally be Big Jim's Pizza Company.

Although they share their current name with 3 other La Bella's in the area they are their own entity and with the new name change, the confusion will be gone.

We do things differently than the other locations and it was time we differentiate ourselves with a different name.

They will remain in their current location at 3801 Olsen Blvd., and they will still have the same atmosphere and owners. All the things you love about La Bella Pizza on Olsen will be all the things you love about Big Jim's Pizza Company, and by the looks of it, they will have some fun and quirky merch to go along with the name change.

In case you didn't know, a little of the history of La Bella Pizza on Olsen, it was founded in its current location in May of 2003. The La Bella Pizza on Olsen was run by a few different owners. In 2016, Jim and Candy Dewitz became the owner of the La Bella Pizza on Olsen and have put their blood, sweat, tears, and BIG personality into this great pizza location perfect for lunch, dinner, or that late-night pizza craving.

Amarillo's Cursed Buildings – Historic Route 66, 2813 SW 6th

There are some places around town that just can't seem to stay in business for very long. This is one of them.

The address of the cursed building is 2813 SW 6th Street. This building was originally built in 1930. This place was originally a service station. I'm sure in the heydays of Rt. 66, this place was the place to stop to get your car serviced. However, in the last 15 years, this building has seen many different faces.
