Carlos Jose Ayala Morales is the Most Wanted Fugitive in Texas

Ayala Morales is a 44-year-old Hispanic male. He's 5' 8" and weighs 130 pounds. Morales has identifying marks including tattoos on his back, abdomen, right hand, and both of his arms.

Why is Carlos Jose Ayala Morales Texas Most Wanted?

Ayala Morales is a convicted sex offender and must register every 3 months.  He was convicted of Burglary of a building in 2000 and sentenced to 6 months in prison.  In 2018 he received a conviction of Evading Arrest/Detention with a vehicle and received a sentence of 7 years in prison.  Also in 2018, he received a conviction of 3 counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact involving two 14-year-old girls and one 12-year-old girl.  He was convicted and received a 7-year prison sentence for each offense served concurrently.  He was released from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2024.  On February 10th, 2025, Harris County issued a warrant for his arrest for Attempted Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact.
