This Brand New Hang Out Spot in Canyon, Texas Is Now Open for Lunch

As Canyon, Texas keeps growing so do its options for great food and a great place to hang out.

Many great things are happening to the home of the Eagles and the Buffs.   The city is expanding and so are the businesses.

Pondaseta Brewing Co. is Open in Canyon

Pondaseta Brewing Co. took over the Santa Fe Depot in Canyon and remodeled it turning it into the Pondaseta Pizza and Brewing Co.  They moved their beer-making warehouse from Amarillo to a beautiful brand-new building next to the depot.

They opened their doors on March 24, 2025, giving Canyon a new place to eat, hang out, and grab one of their amazing craft beers.

For those of you hoping that Pondaseta in Canyon would be open for lunch, your wish just came true, they have changed their hours and are now opening so you can stuff your face with some great pizza and pub grub as they call it.

The new hours for Pondaseta Canyon will be:

• Monday - Saturday - 11 am - 10 pm
• Sunday - 11 am - 8 pm

Their specialty menu includes their TX BBQ, Brussel Balsalmiz Moz, and Cheeseburger to name a few or you can build your own pizza.  Their Pub Grub includes Fish and Chips, wings, and burgers.  Plus a few salad and appetizer selections.  See their menu here.

Pondaseta is joining all the other great new businesses in Canyon including, The Acai Bar, The Lumberyard Restaurant, and the Table Top Cavern Cafe.
