Robotics Class Designs Awesome Tailor-Made Wheelchair for Disabled Student
If putting a smile on someone's face is its own reward, then one high school class is being paid in spades.
A disabled California student named Danny Cope recently received a specially-made wheelchair from a robotics class at Liberal Arts Science Academy High School in Austin, Texas.
The customized wheelchair, which took the class two years to make, is designed to be more rugged than a typical wheelchair and will enable Danny to head out to places he never could go.
Judging by his reaction, he can't wait to start zooming all over town. We sure hope he enjoys it.
