We live in the middle of cattle country. It's one thing to see a ton of cattle in the fields we pass or the feed yards in our towns, but its another to see great beasts stroll down Polk Street. One of the great things about the start to summer is the Coors Cowboy Club annual cattle drive.
Obviously getting residents out is important during the massive flooding of Hurricane Harvey. But some unsung heroes are the cowboys of Texas moving cattle out of the area.
Agriculture is expected to keep advancing in the future. The Texas A&M AgriLife and the U.S. Department of Agriculture had a conference in Bushland celebrating the 75 years of research past, present, and future.
There's not a whole lot to do when you live in the country. It was really only a matter of time before somebody came up with this idea, and then only a short amount of time after that for somebody to film it and put it on YouTube.
