The news of Glen Campbell's death on Tuesday (Aug. 8) has rocked the country music world, and as fans and artists alike mourn, some of the genre's most notable stars are opening up about the legend.

In a tweet on April 20, David Nail opened up about his continuing struggle with depression.

David Nail brought his emotionally raw, vocally smooth sound to Vince Gill’s slow-swinging, gospel-infused “When I Call Your Name” for the CMA Awards 50th anniversary Forever Country cover series.

David Nail and his wife, Catherine, struggled for years to get pregnant. Nail details the struggle throughout his album, Fighter, which dropped on July 15. In an interview with Nashville's Tennessean, he and his wife open up about their difficulties and the newfound joy of being parents.

As you probably know, David Nail will be at the Midnight Rodeo.  As anxious as I am about the seeing him live, I am more excited about the songs he is going to sing.

David Nail celebrated the release of his forthcoming album Fighter, due out Friday (July 15), at the Ruby event space Tuesday night in Nashville, Tenn., for an intimate room of fellow songwriters, industry professionals and family.

David Nail’s new cover of Adele is one of five songs on his just-released Uncovered EP. “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” is originally found on Adele’s 25 album. Nail’s cover is more sparse, and darker. Hear it for yourself with this free download.
