Amarillo brace yourself. We are just a few months into the year but it seems like there has been a lot going on already. We have had a lot of open doors when it comes to places to eat in Amarillo.

This is not a drill. This is not a wait-and-see. Nope, the movie theater inside Westgate Mall is about to open. We were first told it was going to open in January. OK, so they missed that target date.

From a seasoned Amarillo resident, I remember back in the day when we only had one Chick-fil-A location. My first introduction to this heavenly chicken was a trip to Westgate Mall. I remember it well.

We learned back in January that Amarillo's Westgate Mall was going to open back up their movie theater. This has been something that a lot of us are thrilled about. Finally, something brings us back to the heyday of the malls.
