Texas May End Day-Light-Savings
Yes, it is true!
I don't know about you, but I hate day-light savings. I would never want to live in Arizona but I have always been jealous of the fact that they don't participate in daylight savings. As soon as I get adjusted it is time for the next change.
The Texas House voted 133 to 9 on Tuesday to allow voters to decide about daylight saving time.
On November 5th, 2019 voters will get to vote for or against the following:
“The constitutional amendment authorizing the state to conduct a statewide referendum to allow the voters to choose between exempting the state from daylight saving time year-round and authorizing the legislature to enact legislation that gives effect to the option preferred by a majority of the voters voting in the statewide referendum.”
If the voters choose to opt out of Day-light-savings there is no word when the changes would be implemented statewide.
