One of the best parts of Christmas in Amarillo is the Christmas lights. One of the best places to visit for Christmas lights during the holiday season is the Amarillo Botanical Gardens.

When the Amarillo Botanical Gardens light up it feels like it is officially Christmas. Christmas in the Gardens has become a tradition for many families in Amarillo. It's a chance to bundle up and see the thousands upon thousands of lights. Over 350,000 lights cover trees, walls, walks, bridges, and even the conservatory. This is definitely a tradition in my family.

What makes Christmas in the Gardens so special. For some, it's just the Christmas feeling it brings. For others, it is seeing their children's eyes light up at the sight of all the lights. It's the perfect place for a date or a romantic environment to pop the question.. It's also a great place to take pictures and make memories with your friends and family.
