#ThePanhandleGives Is Underway This Season

Panhandle Gives is one of my favorite times of the year.

The concept is simple but it really is quite powerful. A few years ago a movement known as #GivingTuesday started in the U.S. Their goal is for people to start the holiday season off with a giving and thankful heart. The Panhandle gives ensures that every dollar donated on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving can make a local impact.

This year they have teamed up with 108 organizations across 14 counties in the Texas Panhandle. Their goal is to raise $500,000 during the next few days. If you love to support animal welfare, arts & culture, youth, education, or whatever you are passionate about you can find a great non-profit to support during giving week.
