If you were and you still have that Powerball ticket you need to check the numbers.

Someone is about to lose $1 Million

A second-tier winning ticket was purchased for the Powerball drawing on July 19, 2023.   However, that winner has yet to claim their winnings.  The ticket was purchased at the Big Shot located at 9780 Bissonnet St in Houston.   The tickets matched all five numbers, which were 7-10-11-13-24, unfortunately, they didn't choose the right Powerball number which was 24.

The Clock is Ticking!

If this ticket isn't claimed by Monday, January 15th, then it will no longer be available to the winner.

If you are the lucky winner you can claim the prize in person at any of the Texas Lottery Claim Centers in Texas.  However, you will have to go and claim your prize by 5 pm on Friday, January 12th, due to the observance of MLK Day on January 15th.

If you can't make it to a claim center then you will need to claim the prize by mail.  You'll have to mail the ticket and claim form, postmarked by January 15th to the Texas Lottery Commission, ATTN: Austin Claim Center, PO Box 16600, Austin, TX 78761-6600

“We hope to celebrate the Texas Lottery player who became a $1 million prize winner in the July 19, 2023 Powerball drawing,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery. “We encourage our Powerball players to take another look at their tickets, and if your numbers match, sign the back of the ticket before claiming your prize at a Texas Lottery claim center.”

What happens if it isn't claimed?

The unclaimed money will revert back to the state for programs authorized by the Texas Legislature.

If you have that ticket, get your money!
