You may have started to feel like you are a teenager all over again. Like 2020 hasn't given us enough already. It's also leading to a case of the maskne's. What is that? Well it is what it sounds like. Acne caused my wearing a mask.

So you are trying to do the right thing by wearing a mask like told. You end up wearing one a lot. Oh and that causes your face to break out. You are not thirteen anymore. What can you do, if anything, to help with the break outs? I mean it's been awhile since you have had to deal with a problem like this. It, though, is becoming common.

First and foremost hygiene is number one on the list. You need to make sure you wash your face a couple times a day. It is recommended to do so in the morning and again at night. If you get all of that dirt and oil off it won't be as common for you to break out.

Since you are wearing a mask a lot more it is probably best to wear little to no makeup. I mean a lot of it won't be seen anyway. So use this time to have a clean face and not caked on with foundation and powder. You can even try to just wear tinted moisturizer to help if you don't want to go totally without foundation. It is lighter on your skin and won't clog your pores. That is what I wear anyway to help with the not caked on makeup feel. I buy mine at Walgreen's on Georgia.

Another thing that will help is to wash that mask more often. Or if you are wearing disposable ones make sure you change them out. It is recommended when you wear a reusable mask that you should wash it after each use. So it is best to have a few masks to rotate through. Anything we can do to make something a little easier on it. Let's just say that keeping the acne away would be a step in the right direction.
