If there's one thing those in Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle love, it is coffee. Just look around, and you will find a coffee shop on just about every corner here in the Yellow City.
Amarillo’s Growing Coffee Culture
Coffee has become a staple of life for so many. It's a way to start the day, find a pick-me-up, and a way to bond with friends or have a drink during business meetings. It's found in all facets of life.
Soon, two Amarillo coffee shops and one in Dumas will be featured on a PBS show called Coffee The Universal Language. This is an independent docuseries described as "an ongoing documentary series that explores the cultural and social significance of coffee."

Coffee The Universal Language, is currently filming its second season. For season 2. If you tried to stop by Palace the week of January 26th, you probably noticed they were closed, and it wasn't just for the winter weather. They were in the process of being filmed for the docuseries.
Top Amarillo and Dumas Coffee Shops Featured
The episode will feature Patrick Burns, the founding owner of Palace Coffee Company, as well as The 806 Coffee + Lounge and Herencia Coffee in Dumas.
