Do you have a hobby? Are you someone who cares about others? Do you like spending time with people who enjoy your company? Are you someone looking to help out members of the Amarillo community? I've just got the perfect thing for ya.

Plum Creek Place is a senior living community and they're looking for someone like you to help them out. How? That's up to you! There's a myriad of different things they're looking for, but essentially: if you have something interesting or important in your life, they would love for you to share it with their residents!

Here's a couple of good examples of what they're looking for:

Are you in a car club? Do you have a classic car that's your pride and joy? Would you like to show your ride off? Plum Creek Place will be holding a car show on July 12 and they're looking for folks to bring their antique cars up for the residents to admire. So far, they only have a few that have committed to coming out, so there's plenty more room for you. If you've got that sweet looking ride that you're looking to show off, here's your chance.

Are you in a band that likes to throw it back to the oldies? Plum Creek Place could use you and your tunes! Ditch the garage and play that funky music for the residents of Plum Creek. After all, music brings the people together.

Student of the Good Book? Be a teacher of the Good Word. There's ample opportunity for Bible study groups and even worship services. .

Are you a man who likes to do manly things? Well then, grab your manly friends and manly things and come on down to Plum Creek Place. They're looking for a way to host a men's group there and have them do various dude activities while forming brotherly bonds.

Do you live on a farm? Are there a few you'd be willing to pack up and bring in? Everyone loves spending time with animals, and those they don't get to interact with very often would certainly make the day of a few residents.

These are just a few of the ideas and things they're looking for at Plum Creek Place. They're also open to any other great ideas you may have! Reach out to Kristin Spencer at kspencer@enlivant.com and she'll get right back to you with some info and a volunteer packet. Let's help each other out Amarillo!
