The Tri-State Fair Kicks Off This Weekend!
It's finally here...and COVID ain't getting in the way this time around.
One of the most beloved events in Amarillo, the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo got canceled last year due to the pandemic. This year, it's open and ready for you!
There will be a TON going on, I mean they gotta make up for lost time right? The event will last 8 days, and there will be plenty going on each day for you to enjoy.
If the rodeo is your thing, you'll want to target being there September 23-25 for all the events. It'll kick off each one of those nights at 7:30pm, and you know the arena will fill up quick. All the favorites including mutton busting will be present at the rodeo this year.
The carnival is back and in full force. The rides, the games, the carnival food. It's all there for you opening day starting at 4pm and closing up at midnight. After opening day however, the carnival and midway will open its doors at 8am each day while still closing up shop at midnight. So feel free to make it a completely full day on the midway!
Calling into work and school for a sick day? Admission to the fair will be FREE before 1pm each weekday next week, September 24-28. Past 1pm, you'll be charged the normal admission fee. So save yourself a few bucks to blow on food and carnival games by getting in the doors early! Admission ranges from $5-10 depending on your age.
Looking for some live music? Yeah, they'll have that too of course. Artists such as Lindsay Lane and Ray Wiley Hubbard will be there for your sonic pleasure.
There will be plenty of parking for you as well. Find free parking for the event over by gate 1, or get a little closer to everything by dropping $5 over at gate 4.
