Changes to Amarillo’s Iconic Traveland Dealership and RV Museum
Someone recently commented that it's crazy that Jack Sisemore's Traveland is no more. While they're right, they're also wrong. There have been some changes made to Amarillo's iconic RV dealership and museum.
The Traveland dealership made an announcement recently on their Facebook page that they are changing. The change is in the name they will be going by.
Jack Sisemore's Traveland is now Gander RV & Outdoors. If you're in the market for an RV, you can still technically get your RV fix at Traveland, even though it's not technically Traveland.
What Does This Mean for the Jack Sisemore Traveland RV Museum
Immediately my mind went to Jack Sisemore Travleand RV Museum. Surely the museum would be left unscathed by the name change.

So far it looks like that's the case. One of our iconic road side attractions is staying put in Amarillo. Sort of. It looks like the address has changed.
In case you aren't familiar with the RV Museum, it's an homage to the open road, family vacations, and the RVs that got us there.
There are several vehicles, including vintage motorcycles, to accompany the RV trailers. Personally, I can't get enough of the classic Airstream trailers. They've always been a favorite of mine.
If you're looking for the RV Museum and haven't looked up the address in a while, they have relocated to a new address. The new address is 4341 Canyon Drive. Just one more reason to think that nothing will change with the museum; the Google business info was updated a week ago. That means someone is actively updating things.
