City Of Amarillo Has Funding For Low Income Families
The City of Amarillo announced the Community Development Department has funding available through the CDBG-CARES Act for low-income families and individuals to apply for rental, mortgage or utility assistance.
The applications are for the City of Amarillo residents to apply for assistance only if they have been directly affected by COVID-19, such as loss of wages due to company shutdown, hours cut due to Covid-19, having to be quarantined causing residents to miss work.
The applications are for small business owners of 25 employees or less who maintain their business within the city limits of Amarillo, and who have been affected by the impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
