Coffee Memorial Blood Center Hosting Special Blood Drive

Blood is always in need!  Coffee Memorial Blood Center is hosting a very special blood drive Tuesday, April 19th. 

Coffee Memorial Blood Center often gets approached by families to host special blood drives.  Coffee Memorial was recently approached by Arron Sims.  His wife, Brittany, lost her battle to cancer shortly after they were married.

They married in December and Arron lost his beautiful wife in January due to complications from leukemia.  She was only 26 years old.

Arron knew that each time she received a blood transfusion, she felt better.  His goal is to make sure that blood is available for others in need.  So he talked to CMBC and asked if they could do a special drive in her honor.

Of course Coffee Memorial said yes!  The special blood drive will be tomorrow,  April 19th from 9am to 7pm.  Lunch will be provided by Torchy Tacos.
