Amarillo’s Former Cursed Building: Has McAlister’s Deli Put the Bad Luck to Rest?
Amarillo is a big city full of many buildings and many businesses. Throughout the years many businesses come and go, and most of the time the buildings stay. Many times, a lot of businesses come in and out of the doors of the same building.

We call these Amarillo Cursed Buildings.
For those that are new, let me preface this, when we say cursed it doesn't mean haunted or evil spirits, it just means this particular building or area has just had many businesses open and close.
Amarillo has a large selection of these Amarillo Cursed Buildings. The latest cursed building we are going to look at is:
4000 I-40 W
This is how this area looks now.
Keep in mind the original building on this land was bulldozed and a new one was built, which seems to have broken the curse on this land.

A lot of memories were made in the building before McAllister's Deli. Many date nights were had, anniversaries, proposals, and even breakups. Heck, I'm sure many a mistress was snuck into one of these restaurants.
It's crazy to see just how many businesses can occupy a building and create different memories for different people.
Did you get to enjoy any of these restaurants? Do they bring back fond memories? There's just something about food and memories, and most of these restaurants that were in that building were a restaurant for making memories.
What other buildings in Amarillo are cursed? Let us know.
