Now that Halloween is over, the pumpkins are looking a little down. It's time to get rid of them. BUT WAIT.

Don't throw them away.

Many animals love pumpkins, they are a wonderful treat so before throwing them out.  Make sure they go to a good place.

If you have uncarved, unbleached, unused pumpkins or squash animals like chickens,  birds and rabbits love this gourd of a treat. There is a place located at 2461 W. I-40, off Georgia that's called Wings, Wags, and Whiskers that could use your pumpkins.

Also double-check with your local animal rescue shelters, they might have some malnourished rescue animals who would love a tasty pumpkin for a nutritious snack.

I know for sure that Wild West Wildlife Animal Rescue will gladly take those pumpkins off your hands.

There are so many great things that can be done with your leftover pumpkins.  However as stated above, if you are going to give them to a place that will feed them to their animals, they can't be carved or painted, or chemically altered to make them last longer.
