Fundraiser To Support Borger’s HipShots BBQ After Fire

I will admit, I was unfamiliar with Hipshot's Iced Tea & Watering Hole in Borger until just the other day. After living in the panhandle for just over 2 years, there are still so many places I need to explore. Unfortunately, I learned about Hipshot's due to a recent fire. The video streamed across my Facebook feed last week and that is how I started to find out more about this great local spot, and just how much the community loves it.

Video below is from the Borger New Herald, showing the fire that broke out in the back of the family-owed restaurant. The Borger eatery is said to have sustained major damage because of the fire, which is under investigation. Aaron Gibbs has set up a GoFundMe page in hopes of helping out this favorite local spot.
