Giving Back This Summer

We all sometimes feel like we can do more  for our community.But we don't always know how. There are a lot of charity's right here in Amarillo that need your help this Summer. So Amarillo Globe News has put together a list of great charity's and organizations that could use your help!

If you're interested in helping out, here are some of the charity's that need help!

Meals on Wheels: Deliver meals to homebound. 219 W. Seventh Ave. 806-374-1521.

Faith City Ministries: Serve in the dining hall, clothing room, sorting room, serve and clean up after meals, help with projects as needed. 401 S.E. Second Ave. 806-373-6402.

Downtown Women’s Center: Volunteers needed in Thrift City store to sort and hang clothing, work in the showrooms and other jobs. 806-372-3625.

High Plains Food Bank: Sorting, repacking food for distribution. 815 Ross St. 806-374-8562.
