They transformed the former drive-in into their new restaurant, but the space quickly proved to be too small. If you've been by the location on Fillmore and wondered if they closed, no, they didn't.
Hacienda Menche’s Move to Polk Street
In November 2024, Hacienda Menche had an opportunity to move to a larger and busier location. They were able to acquire the former location of the Esquire Jazz Club, Craft Cocktail Bar, and The Matador Tequila Bar inside the historic Woolworth’s building.
What to Expect at the New Hacienda Menche Location
Downtown Amarillo has become a hub for dining and entertainment. The owner hails from Chihuahua, Mexico, bringing truly authentic Mexican flavors to Amarillo. Hacienda Menche is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 2 am, and Sunday from 11 am to 10 pm.
