Did You Know There’s A Slug Bug Ranch Here In Texas?

Texas is so big that yes we have so many different crazy and awesome sights to see. Many of these sights are what you would call 'different' and 'quirky'. Well, just outside of Amarillo Texas is such a sight.

Just south of a bend in the eastbound side of the I-40 Frontage Road at Exit 96. Look for the old motel sign! Trust, you cannot miss it. .

NOT THE CADILLAC RANCH IN AMARILLO! 

Now, if you have been in the panhandle of Texas in Amarillo, then you probably know about the infamous Cadillac Ranch! The Cadillac Ranch is of course 10 Cadillacs buried in the ground and lined up of Interstate 40.

SLUG BUG RANCH IN AMARILLO TEXAS!

When you first see Slug Bug Ranch in Amarillo, Texas the first thing that might come to mind is the infamous Cadillac Ranch. Similar, yes, but different as well. Yep, it's another car graveyard with  five partially-buried Volkswagen Beetles! Which, of course, is why it's named SLUG BUG RANCH!

THE BEETLES ARE SPRAY PAINTED AND GRAFFITED! 

Just like Cadillac Ranch, these vehicles have been spray painted over and over which has seemed to add to the beauty of the art!

ABANDONED MOTEL SITS ON THE SIGHT!

Not only will you find the SLLUG BUGS, but you will find an abandoned HOTEL and Gas pump's! This is a great place for some Texas Selfies!
