Canyon Woman Prays for Return of Lost Ring From Late Husband

As people, we have those little things that hold great memories. It could be a stuffed animal, a blanket, a bible, or a letter.  We have them with us always, even when we travel.

For many, that precious item is a piece of jewelry that was something a loved one wore, or it was something precious that was given to us by someone we love. A necklace, earring, bracelet, or ring. Losing this item would crush us if it were to be lost or stolen.

That is what happened to Canyon resident Patsy McCarter. She was out running errands, and when you do that, you're running from one place to another. Then after you finally slow down, you look and your hand, and something is missing.

Where Did Patsy Lose Her Ring in Amarillo?

Patsy had been running her errands and realized after finishing up that her ring was missing. This ring was precious to her as it was a gift from her late husband.  She said it could be anywhere; she had visited Sam's Club, Westgate Mall, and even attended a volleyball game. The ring could be anywhere.

My husband has passed away and I’d love to get it back. I’m praying for God’s favor.

What Patsy’s Lost Ring Looks Like

The ring has a marquise-shaped dark blue stone at its center, surrounded by a halo of diamonds.The band features a twisting design with more small diamonds set along the sides.

Finding a missing ring is when you don't know where you lost it is like looking for a needle in a haystack. So she turned to Facebook and asked for the public's help hoping to get the ring back.

Finding a ring, especially a ring with value, can be like finding buried treasure, while most people who find something like this turn it into lost and found, or they even go to social media trying to find the owner. But we live in a world where some people believe "finders keepers". It might be worth some money, but to Patsy, it is priceless.
