Amarillo Proves Kindness Isn’t Lost by Reuniting Young Woman with Priceless Bracelet
The Amarillo community, and by community, that includes Canyon and all the surrounding areas of the Texas Panhandle, once again rallied together for one great cause. That cause was returning something special that was lost.
Most of us have that one thing that is precious to us, it may be a ring or a necklace, maybe it's a book or even a bracelet. It's something that we hold so dear and when it is lost it is devastating.

That's what happened to a young WTAMU student Erin Medford. This beautiful Buff is a part of the WTLC program at the university.
She had left her precious charm bracelet at the Virgil Hensen Activity Center basketball gym on Wednesday, February 26th around 2:30 pm.
The charm bracelet was so special because it shared her life story. Her dad Jeff Medford took to social media asking for help in finding the beautiful charm bracelet and offered a reward for the return of this priceless piece of jewelry. As usual, the Amarillo and Canyon community rallied together, the posts were being shared, and several other groups came together to help return this young lady's charm bracelet.
The WTAMU police department even offered a reward for returning this bracelet, and all a person had to do was drop it off at the WT PD office.
Great News! The Missing Charm Bracelet Was Found
The person who had found the bracelet at the activity center returned the bracelet. Erin was reunited with her precious treasure, thanks to the entire community coming together for one purpose, and that was to find the bracelet.
Erin's dad Jeff even joked that the next charm for her bracelet would be an AirTag.
It's easy for people to bash Amarillo and say that it's a horrible place to live, you see it all the time on social media, but in reality it isn't. It's a great place to be and that's because of the people. When one of our own is hurting, tragedy strikes or even a bracelet is lost, we all have a way of rallying together, and that is what makes Amarillo great.
