Our Amarillo Sod Poodles Have Already Announced Schedule For 2023
If you're a baseball fan, and you're dreading the end of this final stretch of games, you've got something to look forward to. As the Amarillo Sod Poodles get ready to wrap up their season, they just shifted our focus to next year.
Amarillo's Sod Poodles just announced the schedule for 2023.
Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginnings End
The 2022 season has been an...interesting one. There have been several changes as we all settled in for a summer spent at Hodgetown.
The Sod Poodles wrap things up on Sunday, September 18. The final game will be the end of a six game series at San Antonio.
With the end of the season getting closer, the Soddies organization released the schedule for next year.
2023 Begins And Ends With The Frisco RoughRiders
To start the 2023 season, the Sod Poodles will be on the road for a three game series against the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A farm club of the Rangers. That series kicks off on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
Opening night at Hodgetown is scheduled for April 11, 2023.
The regular season will conclude at Hodgetown against the Frisco RoughRiders.
What Can We Expect Of The 2023 Season At Hodgetown?
The one big thing that stood out, to me, in the press release was the fact that the major holidays would all be spent at Hodgetown next year.
That means Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Independence Day will all be celebrated at Hodgetown. The 2022 season wasn't nearly as generous, or festive.
More details will be announced later. For now, you can see the schedule at SodPoodles.com.
