Add this to the list of things I never thought I'd see in Amarillo

I know it seems we go through this every year. I mean it's no surprise that it snows here in the Texas Panhandle. I know we don't get as much snow as other parts of the country. It seems though that the snow brings out the worst in our drivers.

The old saying goes, "If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes."

With all of the winter weather we recently had, they can get worse.

Please, for the love of all that is sacred and holy to humanity, don't start hoarding toilet paper over the light snow in the forecast.

It's bad enough to see the first signs of winter in late October, but then we have to deal with all the other stuff that comes with it.

I will go out right here and say I am not a fan of the colder weather. Heck, I am not even a fan of how cold they keep the office. I feel I am ALWAYS cold.

Along with closings and cancellations, there are also numerous reports of wrecks and traffic being backed up along I-40.

Be safe when traveling this weekend. There is a chance for more winter weather today and tomorrow.

There have been a lot of rumors of possible immigration raids hitting Lubbock. Raids have been happening in the past week in many states like Georgia, New York, California, and Texas. Could Amarillo be ICE's next stop?
