United Supermarkets Opening New Store In Amarillo On South Soncy

The new location will be on 34th & Soncy and they are calling it the next generation United.

United Supermarkets has confiremed it will be opening a new Amarillo location by this coming fall on 34th & Soncy, construction is set to begin immediately.

Monica Shierbaum, senior director of marketing for United Supermarkets, LLC called it "The next generation of United Supermarket stores." The new store will be the 8th in Amarillo and the newest since 2002.

The store will include an indoor-outdoor dining area, drive-thru pharmacy and walk-in clinic, gas station, and a United Express. Market Street United will also undergo some remodeling starting this summer and is expected to be finished by late fall.
