So get ready for it. The flood of Facebook photos of even more people posting that they got their Covid Vaccination. As more and more people are eligible to start getting their first round. Then of course schedule their second shot. The time is here.

We started way back with healthcare workers and residents of long term healthcare in the first round to get vaccinated. Then after a while we moved on to phase two which included anyone over 65. They also added in folks who are over 16 and had an underlying health condition.

I kept sitting back and watching as more and more people I know started with round one and happily posted that they are done with their second round. I still didn't qualify. Maybe soon.

Then the announcement for phase three. Anyone over the age of 50. Still not there. Then they finally let all teachers and child care workers. Sometimes I feel like I am a child care worker but alas I am still not even considered.

Then finally the words I have been waiting to hear. According to officials with the Texas Department of State Health Services the news came out that starting next week, all adults will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in the state. All adults. Which means woo hoo. I finally qualify. Well I am over eighteen but using the term adult. I am not so sure.

But this really is great news. I know that the lines will probably be long the first few days. So expect the wait. It will be worth it though. Right? I mean we are starting to open up more and more. Oh and we are all about to be vaccinate too. What a wonderful world we live in. HERE is where you can get more information.
