The Canyon Farmers Market Ends Season With an Autumn Celebration
It's getting to that time of year when things we enjoyed in the summer are coming to a halt.
One of those things is enjoying local Farmer's Markets.
The Amarillo Community Market had their last market of the season on September 9th. The Golden Spread Farmers Market will continue until Amarillo sees its first frost.
The Canyon Farmers Market will end its season on Saturday, September 30th.
Don't think they are going quietly. Their last Famer's Market of the season is ending with an Autumn Festival. The event will last from 8 am - 1pm.
Canyon Main Street Activities:
- Free pumpkins to the first 100 kids (12 and under)
- Boy Scout Troop #4 will be selling pumpkins
- Fun pumpkin activities for the kids
- Pet Parade - 10:30 Pre-register your pet here, or register on-site 9 am - 10 am.
- Pet adoption organizations on-site
This will be a fun time for the entire family, plus it's your last chance to stock up on farm-fresh veggies, honey, jams and jellies, hot sauce, meat, and so much more. The Canyon Farmers Market has just about everything you could imagine. Including caramel apples with sparkly sticks. Need a new cup for your coffee or other drinks, they have a great selection of those items as well. T-Shirts? They have a huge selection of fun shirts. Need some bling, you can also find some really pretty jewelry at the Canyon Farmers Market. Don't worry about breakfast or coffee, they have food trucks on-site for your caffeine fix and a good breakfast burrito.
The Canyon Farmers Market is one of the best in the area. If you haven't had a chance to check it out all season, don't miss your last chance to check out all the amazing vendors.
