Join the Junior League of Amarillo this week for their Food Fight.  The Junior League is competing against 9 different cities in a food fight across Texas.  Let us help them show these other cities that Amarillo means business!

Now this isn't your typical food fight, this is a food fight to help end hunger.

Now through this Saturday, the Junior League is asking for your help.  They are collecting food for the High Plains Food Bank.

They are in a competition with other cities including, Odessa, Lubbock, Waco, San Angelo, Bryan/College Station, and Lawton.  Yes some of these cities are bigger than Amarillo, but I think Amarillo has the bigger heart when it comes to taking care of our own.

So how can you help in this fight?  You can donate non-perishable food items and lots of canned goods.

You can drop your donations at the following locations:

Western Bowl
Pantex
St. Mary's Church
Panhandle Weight Loss Center
Polk Street United Methodist Church
All United Supermarkets, Market Street and Amigo's

Coming up this Saturday, March 4th, join the Junior League from 9am - 11am, they will host the official weigh in at the High Plains Food Bank.

So let's get in and epic food fight and help end hunger in the Texas Panhandle with the Junior League.
