Is Crime On The Rise In Amarillo? [POLL]

Burglaries, shots fired, drugs is all you have been seeing in the news lately. I don't think I have ever seen this much crime happen in Amarillo.

It could just be because I work in media now and receive alerts when the crimes are happening. But even then, the crime has never been this violent. Before, I would go days or even weeks without seeing an APD cop car, now they're out everywhere.

Maybe this is a sign that crime is increasing, so I want to know do you think crime is on the rise in Amarillo?
