Something we don't have a lot of, places to get dessert.   Yes, we can get ice cream at just about any place in town, however, it's nice to have a place to go and get something unique.

That's why this new business will be a great place to take the family to enjoy a sweet treat.

The Paleta Bar

The Paleta Bar is opening up in Amarillo!

What is Paleta?

Paletas are Spanish for ice pops.

These ice pops are gourmet.  They have over 20 flavors to choose from and then you can choose how you want it dipped, and then top it off with other flavors like crushed cookies, nuts, or fruit.

They have other items on the menu as well, including their specialty and signature Paletas, mixed fruit cups, aguas frescas, nachos, elote, and jerky.

There will be something for everyone at The Paleta Bar.

Although we don't see Amarillo as a location on their website yet, they have a storefront with a sign.  It is located where Sweet Charlie's was in Town Square Village.

The Texas State Compotrollers website shows where a sales tax permit was issued for the store with the first sales date of September 1st.  Although it seems, the first sales date has yet to happen.

We did reach out to the corporate offices of The Paleta Bar and have yet to receive an answer.  However, as soon as we receive a response we'll let you know all the details.
