Just because we are in the middle of a pandemic doesn't mean that things slow down for anyone. There are still people that need our help. That is why Potter County Sheriff's Office  figured out a way to continue to have a cookout. They have this one every year to help out one of their own.

This year is no different. Oh, wait but it is a bit different. They are still going to have the cookout. They just had to figure out a way to social distance through it all. They still have to help. One of their own, a Potter County Sheriff's Office employee has a wife battling cancer. The money raised from this cookout will be there to help his family out.

So make your plans on Wednesday, July 22nd, to head to the north side of the Potter County Courthouse. They will be serving burgers, chips, a drink and a chocolate chip cookie. All of this will only cost you $6 for this great lunch.

The difference this year is it's pretty much grab and go.You are free to sit on the lawn there but no tables and chairs will be provided. Lunch will be served from 11 am - 1 pm on Wednesday. Make your plans now.

So grab your friends, social distance of course, and grab a nice and affordable lunch on Wednesday the 22nd. Not only will you head back to work with a happy stomach but you will also be helping out a fellow neighbor here in Amarillo.
