This Building on Bell Street is Getting New Life with a Twist
When you spend a lot of time driving around Amarillo, you tend to see different things. Like new businesses popping up all over the city.
I tend to travel down Bell St. quite a bit and it's always sad to see empty buildings, just sitting there empty looking trashy. So when you see something that might be getting new life. That brings excitement.
The area of 45th and Bell has been getting a few new places recently. Yellow City Grind recently opened in that area. It's a new local coffee shop with some flair, and it always seems busy.
Roll Em Up Taquitos opened up around the corner behind Weinerschnitzel recently. That's a great area to open a new business or restaurant because Amarillo High School is right there and the upperclassmen at the school are allowed off-campus lunches and flock to that area for food.
There is an empty building sitting at 4406 S. Bell back in its heyday it was Arby's. It was very convenient having Arby's in that location, however, it was closed. Not long after Arby's shutdown, a chicken place moved in called Bush's Chicken, and as quickly as that chicken place opened, it moved out and graffiti and weeds took over the building.
Now that building is going to be seeing new life. Soon, noodles will be available in that area. According to a new sign posted in front of the building, Mr. Noodles will be moving in. One could only assume that it will be a place of noodles. I mean you can't go wrong with noodles.
As soon as we get more information. We'll share all the details.
