One of Amarillo's attractions is Wonderland Park, an amusement park that has been entertaining families in the Texas Panhandle for over 70 years.

Someone recently broke into the amusement park, and the Amarillo PD needs your help to locate the suspect.

The Amarillo Police Department received a call on Tuesday, June 11th. Upon arrival, APD officers found several buildings on the property had been broken into. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male wearing a dark-colored hoodie and carrying a tan backpack.

The suspect was also wearing gloves and a mask. Multiple credit card terminals were among the items taken.

Wonderland Park is located inside Thompson Park, at 2601 Dumas Dr.   The park is famous for its double loop rollercoaster the Texas Tornado, Himalaya, Mouse Trap,  Cyclone, and the Fantastic Journey.  Smaller kids can enjoy the boats, helicopters, the Frog Hopper, and the carousel. The park is open Wednesday - Sunday and closed Monday and Tuesday.  The person who broke into the park chose a day when it was closed.
