Burger King in Amarillo Offering Ghost Pepper Nuggets

Ok I am a fan of anything spicy. I am also the type of person who will try anything once. If I like it I will try it again. If not....I will let it be. So I was intrigued by the new item they were going to introduce at Burger King.

Now usually I am a Whopper kind of person. I am not a huge fan of their nuggets. I guess because you can get ten for $1.49 how good can they be? You throw in the word ghost pepper and the bet is all off.

Starting today they have Ghost Pepper Chicken Nuggets on their menu. I couldn't wait until today though. If you signed up on their app to be in the New BK Royal Perks Club you could try them earlier. So I was all about that.

Now I will tell you that these nuggets don't look like anything special. In fact they look like just plain ol' nuggets. I was expecting them to be red or something intimidating. That was not the case.

I ordered them through the app and had my daughter go and pick them up.

I had high hopes for these when I first took them out of the package. I mean they looked like they could be spicy. It looks like there may be dehydrated ghost pepper on top. That could be good. That is what I want to burn my mouth.

Did they? No, they had a spice but for the idea of ghost pepper I wanted them to be spicier. My daughter agreed. They had a kick just not the spice I wanted.

They go on sale to everyone on Monday. So I want to know what you think. Would I get them again? If I go to Burger King I normally will just stick with the Whopper. If I am extra hungry maybe I will grab an order of these. I just will know not to expect it to be the ghost pepper hotness I would love.
