Back in April, we shared that the long-time restaurant Fat Boys closed. A restaurant that had been a part of Canyon for at least 3 decades.
Another great restaurant that has been in Amarillo for just as long, announced that they would be moving from their location on Hillside to the Netplex. Unfortunately, that partnership didn't last and left this popular restaurant without a home, but luckily had a food trailer.
Robinson's BBQ
As luck would have it, Robinson's found a new home in Canyon. The familiar BBB restaurant is moving to Canyon and into the former Fat Boys location. Robinson's gets a new home in a great city, and Canyon residents get to enjoy delicious BBQ in a familiar location.
For those in Amarillo, luckily you're about a 10-15 minute drive to Canyon to enjoy the BBQ you have enjoyed for decades.
When will they open?
Robinson's is up and running from their new parking lot in their food trailer until they get the inside of the building renovated and ready to serve up some delicious BBQ.
Robinson's BBQ is joining the ever-growing city of Canyon's new businesses including Whataburger, Wing Stop, TeaNergy, The Lumberyard, Pondaseta Brewery, Tireworks Tire Pros, and all the future new businesses.
It's great when a city has many choices to choose from when it comes to restaurants. If it's been a while since you've been in Canyon, you should make a short road trip and enjoy the city.
