Officers arrived on the scene and found two people deceased.  At this time the Amarillo Police Department Homicide unit is investigating.  No names have been released in the deaths or suspects.  The investigation is ongoing.

The Lakeview Mobile Home Park is located on the access road of I-27 between Bell and Hollywood Rd.  The Mobile home park can also be accessed from South Bell.

Without further information, these deaths could mark over 25 homicides in Amarillo in 2022.   Just a week ago Amarillo had seen 23 homicides.  Here we sit today with a possible 25 homicides on the books.   Since two bodies were found it is possible that this was a murder/suicide or accidental death but without any more information from the APD at this moment, we don't know.

However, any death is devastating for families, friends, and community members and this community is now feeling the loss of a loved one, a neighbor, and friends.

As more information is released about the case, cause of death, deceased, and suspects, we will keep you updated.
