Possibly? I mean if you are one of those that wants to put in minimal effort this could be your thing.

There was research done in Oregon recently and they ran a bunch of tests on mice. They wanted to see how exercise affected their brains. The result? That even brief mini workouts could actually make you smarter.

How were these tests done? They put mice (mainly the lazy ones) and made them start working out on hamster wheels. The point was to just make them run.

They found that even those short bursts of exercise improved the part of the brain, the hippocampus, that helped with learning and memory.

Those short bursts of exercise also boosted the production of a protein that helped neurons communicate with each other. As luck would have it humans have the same proteins that also act the same way.

Many of the studies have shown that regular exercise can lead to a brain that functions better. This study those was the first one to show us that even a single workout, preferably in the morning could actually make you smarter for the rest of the day.

So you have a big test coming up or even a big meeting. I would suggest improving your chances of doing well with both. Get on that treadmill or take a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Just increase your activity early on in the day to increase you output.
