Carmageddon Rolling In To Amarillo College This Weekend
I love a good car show. not too long ago I had some fun visiting the Amarillo Corvette Clubs' show at the Vineyard and before that the Polk Street Cruise. Any time there's horsepower and cars on display it's always a good time and this time the action heads out to Amarillo Colleges' East Campus. The West Texas Region of the Sports Car Club of America is hosting Carmageddon this Sunday
It's More Than Just A Car Show
The event hosted by the West Texas Region SCCA is in support of the "Wrench It" scholarship which helps students looking into the automotive trades which is already a wide field with many areas of expertise including automotive technology, diesel and diesel/truck driving programs, automotive collision repair, welding, HVAC and even aviation. Automotive careers are in wide demand and often times are recession proof as everyone has to drive.
